Since January 2008, TSF has developed an information system for the Shoklo Malaria Research Unit (SMRU) at Mae Sot, in Thailand, near the border with Myanmar. On April 9th 2009 TSF and IT Cup inaugurated the programme that aims at reinforcing the SMRU health personnel, who are treating hundreds of patients every day in their clinics.
